This remote-controlled car steers like a real car instead of the four wheel drive "skid steer" method used by most of the standard Vex IQ designs. Two motors drive the rear wheels, using a 1:3 gear ratio for a lot more speed, and a third motor pivots the front wheels left and right to steer.

To make the steering smooth, the custom remote control program below calculates speeds and positions for all three motors based on the inputs from the controller.
